Bow and nef for Swift
Join us at the AltConf Madrid conference on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 at the Impact Hub Piedmont.
AltConf is an event promoted by the community, organized to serve developers and a product-oriented community. Held at Impact Hub Piedmont, AltConf Madrid 2019 will be held on Monday June 3, 2019.
This one day conference features talks chosen by the community, including talks by two members of the 47 Degrees team.
Tomas Ruiz will be giving a talk on Bow for Swift:
Error management and data validation with Bow
Nearly every iOS application has to handle errors and validate data of some kind. Swift provides some mechanisms like the recently introduced Result type, which enables a more functional way of dealing with errors. In this talk we will explore other data types that Bow provides to address this task and fail fast or error accumulation strategies.
Miguel Ángel Díaz will be giving a related talk on nef, a set of command line tools that let you have compile time verification of your documentation written as a Swift Playground.
Hard drugs for Swift Playgrounds: Nefertiti
If you want to write a new library, blog post, a book, or the README for your repository, you will encounter the same problem, how can you keep these in sync with your code? nef solves this problem using Swift Playgrounds.
This presentation will be a live session, where together, we will write documentation using Swift Playgrounds, following Apple’s guidelines. Your documentation will be converted into a post, or even in a microsite, and it will be verified before for publishing.
There are a limited amount of tickets available, register here before they’re gone!
