LX Scala 2017

LX Scala 2017

Join us May 12th for LX Scala 2017 in Lisbon, Portugal.

LX Scala is hosted by 47 Degrees, Codacy, and e.near, with support from local meetup groups.

After last year’s success, Lisbon will once again host Scala experts from around the globe to discuss the present and future trends of the Scala programming language.

With a limited audience of 100 people, LX Scala brings together professionals from the communities of Portugal, Spain, and the UK.

Who?

  • Heather Miller
  • Viktor Klang
  • Holden Karau
  • Raul Raja
  • Luis Reis & Rui Batista
  • Kingsley Davis & Sofia Cole
  • Kelley Robinson
  • Ruben Badaro

Why?

It’s important to make the Scala Community the strongest it can be. A stable Community is a foundation for the creation of relevant Scala libraries. Though the Scala Groups of Spain and Portugal are separated by geography, this event unites the two and is focused on bringing like-minded people together from all the Meetups.

Where?

We’re pleased to have the support of Microsoft Portugal for this conference. They’ve graciously provided us with our venue, which is their headquarters in Lisbon, located on the Tagus riverside.

The headquarters is an awesome site complete with outdoor spaces, a theater, and large open spaces for optimal sponsor visibility. It’s a great place to share Scala knowledge and enjoy the Community.

When?

The conference opens at 08:00 on Friday, May 12th with talks scheduled until 19:00.

The event will conclude with a party and rock concert at 23:00.

Tickets are limited, get yours today so you don’t miss out! Register here!

Make sure to check out talks by some of the 47 Degrees’ team. You can also follow us @47deg and @lx_scala for more from the event using #LXScala.
