Scala at the Sea February Meetup

Scala at the Sea February Meetup

Join us for the February meeting of Scala at the Sea in Seattle!

On February 14th, 2017, Adam Rosien from Underscore will discuss algebras:

In this talk we’ll learn about what an algebra is, why functional programmers talk about them constantly, and how you can use them in your projects. Algebras are structure, and we’ll talk about their various forms: algebraic data types, F-algebras, object algebras, and more!

Doors open at 6:00 PM with the talk beginning at 6:30 PM. And yes, there will be food and beverages provided.

The 47 Degrees headquarters will also be holding open office hours prior to the meetup. Stop by our Pioneer Square digs, grab a coffee or beer and chat Scala and Spark with us from 1:00 - 5:00 PM.

To get to the WhitePages office, enter through the 4th Ave. entrance and take the escalator up to the 3rd floor and then the elevator to the 16th floor.
