Purely Functional RPC microservices in Scal

Join us on November 27th at the ScalaMAD Meetup for a presentation from Adrián Ramirez entitled, Purely Functional RPC microservices on Scala and How to Use Them.

In this talk, Adrián will explain RPC microservices, how to build them in Scala with Mu, and how to contemplate and handle errors with Shapeless Coproducts. He’ll show an example with a connected client and server, a small introduction to Tagless Final as a recommended pattern, and finally, its advantages, disadvantages, and use cases.
